Coaching Misconduct
If a coaching complaint is received, the following protocol will be followed unless otherwise instructed by the Executive Committee of NWLL:
1. The Commissioner of the division with which the complaint originated will meet as quickly as possible with the Coaching Coordinator to attempt at validating the complaint/misconduct.
a) If the complaint/misconduct is determined to be more akin to a problem with the way the coach is carrying him/herself (i.e. being a jerk) the Commissioner and Coaching Coordinator will meet with the coach and encourage him/her to be more self-aware in an attempt to prevent negative reputations from being developed and/or future implications
b) If the complaint/misconduct is validated, the Commissioner and Coaching Coordinator will then set up a time that week to meet with the coach.
2. The meeting will address what rule the coach violated and the Commissioner and Coaching Coordinator will reemphasize the importance of following the Zero Tolerance Policy along with an explanation that another violation will subject that coach to being removed from coaching for the remainder of the season.
a) After this verbal warning is delivered, the Commissioner will need to be present for the next several games to witness how the coach is responding
b) Repeat violations result in removing the coach from coaching for the remainder of that season.
Parent Misconduct

3) HC and Commissioner will decide to email or meet with the parent/family member who acted out.
